Overview

What we take care of.

A gazebo turns a backyard into a proper outdoor room. We build them from scratch on your site — no flat-pack, no shortcuts. Balinese thatch, timber tile or colorbond, whatever suits.

Timber, roof style, size and finish are all up to you. We'll help you work out what fits, what looks right, and what stands up through a proper Queensland summer.

How it works

A simple, tidy process.

  1. 1

    Design the shape

Luke sketches a rough layout on your site — size, roof pitch, view lines. You approve the look before we quote.

  2. 2

    Foundations

Concrete footings or a tiled pad, poured level and cured before framing starts.

  3. 3

    Frame it up

Hardwood posts and beams built plumb, square, and rated for our summer storms.

  4. 4

    Roof & finish

Thatch, shingle or tile laid on-site. Timber sealed or stained to match your yard.

Materials

Built with the good stuff.

Nothing worse than a job that looks great on day one and falls apart in a year. We use materials rated to last, not the cheapest thing on the pallet.

  • Kiln-dried hardwood posts and beams
  • Genuine Balinese alang-alang thatch
  • Cedar shingles, colorbond, timber tile
  • Stainless fixings, galvanised brackets

Common questions

Good things to ask.

How long does a thatched roof last?+

A well-installed Balinese thatch roof lasts 8–12 years in Queensland conditions. It's easy to top up in patches as it ages.

Will I need council approval?+

Small gazebos under 10m² usually don't. We'll flag it early and can size the build to stay under the threshold if that's what you want.
